Freedom Field Hockey Fall 2021

The Freedom Field Hockey program provides girls and boys, 4-14 years of age, an environment where they will gain knowledge, understanding and skills necessary to play field hockey. The sport of field hockey promotes teamwork, encouragement, and overall enjoyment. Our season runs from Aug. to early Nov.
Clinic Play Grades Pre-K-2: $70.00 Practice one evening each week (pre-season has optional 2nd practice in Aug). Play days are held on Saturdays or Sundays throughout the season and hosted by other programs starting in September and ending the first weekend of Nov. Freedom hosts one home Play Day, all other Play Days will be travel (other programs are located in Carroll, Howard, Baltimore, Harford and Frederick counties). Play Days typically run from 9AM-12pm with a minimum of three 20-min games.
3rd-4th Grade: $170.00 Practice two each week, games on Sun.*
5th-6th Grade: $180.00 Practice two each week, games on Sun.*
7th-8th Grade: $180.00 Practice two each week, games on Sun.*
*Registration fee for Grades 3-8 includes two tournaments. Coaches will decide which tournaments teams will enter. Three tournaments are available and are typically on Saturday. The 3rd tournament will be an additional cost of approximately $25 that will be collected by the coach before the regular season begins. Tentative dates for tournaments are as follows; Sept 19th, Oct 2nd, and Oct 23,24.

Freedom Firebirds Travel Softball 2020-21

Welcome to the Freedom Firebirds registration page.

Congratulations on making a Firebird team this season.

As you register you will be required to enter a participation code. You can contact your team manager for this code if you have not already received it.

You will also be asked to select a team -- select the team your child will be playing for this season.

If you are a volunteer you need to also register as a volunteer on our websiite and on the CCRP Background link : https://carrollcountyrecreationandparks.quickapp.pro/positions

You must have tried out for a Freedom Firebird Team and have been selected to play on that team in order to register.

Freedom Coed Slow Pitch Over 16 Softball Spring 2021

Freedom Adult Coed Slow Pitch Softball – Spring 2021 – Registration will open February 15, 2021
You must have a participation code to register for this program.

All managers must register as a Manager in the Players division and a player in the Managers division.
Players register in the player division as a player.
Registration is by Team Only - if you have a team please email fdosoftball@gmail.com for Participation
Code and send Team Info.
Cost is $550.00 per team - fee includes all league and umpire fees. Uniforms are not included

If you are an individual player looking for a team, please email us at fdosoftball@gmail.com and we will try to find a team for you.

Registrations are not considered complete until payment has been received and your team has registered as players.

We will once again use a double header format – 2 -55-minute games – player starts with 1-1 count then 1 foul ball – 7 inning games.

Season runs March 28 through July 11 Sundays at Freedom Park Field 5 & 6 (No Games Easter Sunday, Mother’s Day, Memorial Day Weekend and Father's Day) -10 weeks and two rain dates)
Location: Freedom Park
Virtual Team Managers meeting Sunday March 7 at 7:00 PM.

All payments must be received by March 8th or your team will not be added to the schedule
Refund Policy - There is a $25.00 non-refundable admin fee. There will be a $25.00 fee for any returned checks.
Any Sessions cancelled for reasons beyond our control are non-refundable


Freedom Rec Soccer Fall 2021

Welcome to Freedom Optimist Rec Soccer Registration

Fees are: $100.00/player
$10.00 sibling discount for each additional child in the family registered in our program.
Early Bird Discount –$5.00 off - must be paid by Credit Card – any registrations not paid by April 30 will have $5.00 fee added to registration cost. Registrations from May 1 – May 31 will be as above – Registrations after June 1st will include a $15.00 late fee, registrations from starting July 1st will include a $25.00 (unless you have tried out for an FSC travel team or high school team and did not make the team). Please email ryan@freedomoptsoccer.com if this occurs.

Registration is not considered complete and your child will not be placed on a team until payment is received.

If you are volunteering in our program you must register as a volunteer - Make sure you register - after you register your child. If you are a volunteer Coach or Assistant Coach you must also complete the Carroll County Background check–https://www.freedomoptsoccer.com/and follow the instructions on the front page.

Season runs from August - Mid November. You should receive a call or email from your child's coach during the last week of July, except for the Clinic Age 3 & Clinic Age 4 teams (These divisions do not practice in August)

Refund Policy: 100% thru July 15 less $20.00 administrative fee, No refunds after July 15

Team sizes and age grouping will depend on the number of participants. Any sessions cancelled by circumstances beyond our control are non-refundable.


Freedom Optimist Fall Softball 2021

Welcome to Freedom Girls Fall Softball Registration!

Registration will be from 06-08-21 - 07-31-21

In order to keep the girl’s skills fresh, we will focus on instruction and reinforcing skills learned this Spring - while teaching new players the game of softball. We will have practices on Tuesday and Thursday nights and scrimmages on Sunday afternoons at Old Liberty Road Park.

There will be two divisions:
Grades 3-5 (Tuesdays)
Grades 6-9 (Thursdays)

The seasons will run from 9/12 through 11/7.
Registration is $30 per child. T-Shirts will be provided with registration.

If you are volunteering you MUST register online.

All umpires will be volunteers for the fall season.

Refund Policy:
There is a $10.00 non-refundable administrative fee on all registrations.
No refunds after 09-02-20

FO Soccer Shooting Stars Soccer Clinic - 2021

For: All Special Needs Children ages 5-18 (exceptions can be made)

Free for all participants

Dates: Friday, August 13th, August 20th, and August 27th - attend as many as you like - Every players will receive a T-shirt and soccer ball on the first night and medallion on the last night.

Where: Freedom Park Soccer Field 1

Time: Players: 6:30-7:30

Volunteers: 5:30-8:00 on August 13th and 6:00-8:00 on the 20th
and 27th.

Hall Rental - Freedom Optimist Building 2021

In order to rent the the Freedom Hall please email optimisthall@gmail.com and you will receive a participation code so that you can register and pay.

Fees are:
Upstairs (Capacity - 60): $50.00/hour plus $275.00

Downstairs (Capacity - 225):
$600.00 - 4 hours
$650.00 - 5 hours
$700.00 - 6 hours
$750.00 - 7 hours
$800.00 - 8 hours



With this registration I agree that I will abide by all rules, regulations and terms set forth below for the Rental of the Freedom Optimist Hall (upstairs & downstairs) for the date and times listed on my registration.
IMPORTANT: You must email (optimisthall@gmail.com) a copy of a Certificate of Insurance for General Liability in the amount of $500,000 naming the Optimist Club of Freedom District as “additionally insured” which can be secured from either a business or homeowner’s insurance provider once registration is complete. If this form is not received within 20 days of registration – this registration will be cancelled.

CANCELLATION: ½ of rental fee is Non-Refundable
BUILDING SECURITY: Upon completion of event and inspection credit card payers will be issued $200.00 refund back to your credit card from your rental fee within 30 days after your event date

FSC Travel Soccer Club (U8 - U19) — 2021/2022 Season

Step 2) Add your children (when adding grade use current grade in school) and/or spouse to the account
