Freedom Optimist Spring Rec Soccer 2021

Ages 3 – Grade 8 - All teams are COED
Lots of fun for everyone –Eldersburg Elementary School – Mid March - early May Play with your friends!! (older age groups short sided fields). Team sizes and age grouping will depend on the number of participants. Requests will be honored but will be done on a first come first serve basis.
Season will run on Sunday mornings March 21 – May 9. 7 weeks - 1 week of practices – 7 weeks of games. (1 weeknight may be added - adding one game to the schedule - any make up games will be on week nights)
Cost: $65.00/player
($5.00 sibling discount)

Late Registration February 1 - February 15 - Cost $75.00
Registration is not considered complete and your child will not be placed on a team until payment is received.
If you are volunteering in our program you must register as a volunteer - Make sure you register - after you register your child. If you are a volunteer Coach or Assistant Coach you must also complete the Carroll County Background check – see our website – for details. If you coached in the fall please check your expiration date for your background check before doing new background registration.

If the request is received on or before 03/15/20 you receive the entire fee less $ 15.00

South Carroll High School

Athletes will be separated, if needed, by age and specialty. We are only offering sprints and distance specialties at this time. Hurdles, long jump, and throwing are options if additional volunteers are available to help with these events. All meets take place on Sundays starting in April, and are optional.
Our objective: Have fun while developing skills and appreciation for the sport of Track and Field. Parent volunteers are needed – let us know if interested!
Cost: $85 per athlete for 1st family member, $70 for each additional family member. Cost does not include uniform jersey (required for meets) that is purchased separately, nor does it include meet entry fees -- typically $6 (paid on day of meet).

Freedom Rec Softball Spring 2021

Welcome to Freedom Rec Softball Registration 2021
Girls Rec. Softball Divisions are as follows:
Pre/K-Kindergarten (must turn age 5 by Sept. 1, 2021)
1-2 grade (Coach/Machine Pitch)
3-5 grade (Kid & Machine Pitch)
6-9 grade(Kid Pitch)
10-12 grade(Kid Pitch) - may involve travel to alternate field locations - all players wait listed pending registration size
Emphasis is placed on fun and instruction. Divisions may change depending on registration.
Registration from December 15, 2020 - March 15, 2021
Cost: : $80.00

Registration is not considered complete and players will not be assigned to a team until payment is received.
Refund Policy:There is a $10.00 non-refundable administrative fee on all registrations.

Practice begins in March 15 for Grades 1-12.
Games begin for all divisions April 10 thru early June
We will be holding free pitching instruction clinics in March for Grades 3-5 and 6-9 Divisions. All pitchers or potential pitchers are encouraged to attend. We will have outdoor pitching practice sessions from March - early April - Times and exact dates to be determined. We will also hold outdoor fielding hitting and clinics. Additional information to follow.
If you wish to be a Team Manager, Assistant Coach, Team Parent or Volunteer in any other way you MUST register online. Please note - all Team Managers & Assistant Coaches will also be required to additionally register for background check with the county. See our website for additional info.

FSC Travel Soccer 2020/2021

FSC Travel Soccer Club (U8 - U19) — 2020/2021 Season

• If selected for a FSC team, Players must register and pay within 3 days from time offer is made to join a team.
• Players must have a participation code to register. To obtain a code please contact your coach.
• Player registration fee is $165 (non-refundable). Should any significant portion of the 2020/2021 season be cancelled due to COVID, the Board will evaluate issuing any refunds. Credit card or checks accepted. ($25 charge for returned checks).
• Coaches, assistant coaches, team managers, treasurers, and board members MUST also register here as a volunteer and must have a participation code to register.

Freedom Coed Slow Pitch Over 16 Softball Spring 2021

Freedom Adult Coed Slow Pitch Softball – Spring 2021 – Registration will open February 15, 2021
You must have a participation code to register for this program.

All managers must register as a Manager in the Players division and a player in the Managers division.
Players register in the player division as a player.
Registration is by Team Only - if you have a team please email for Participation
Code and send Team Info.
Cost is $550.00 per team - fee includes all league and umpire fees. Uniforms are not included

If you are an individual player looking for a team, please email us at and we will try to find a team for you.

Registrations are not considered complete until payment has been received and your team has registered as players.

We will once again use a double header format – 2 -55-minute games – player starts with 1-1 count then 1 foul ball – 7 inning games.

Season runs March 28 through July 11 Sundays at Freedom Park Field 5 & 6 (No Games Easter Sunday, Mother’s Day, Memorial Day Weekend and Father's Day) -10 weeks and two rain dates)

All payments must be received by March 8th or your team will not be added to the schedule
Refund Policy - There is a $25.00 non-refundable admin fee. There will be a $25.00 fee for any returned checks.

Hall Rental - Freedom Optimist Building 2021

In order to rent the the Freedom Hall please email and you will receive a participation code so that you can register and pay.

Fees are:
Upstairs (Capacity - 60): $50.00/hour plus $275.00

Downstairs (Capacity - 225):
$600.00 - 4 hours
$650.00 - 5 hours
$700.00 - 6 hours
$750.00 - 7 hours
$800.00 - 8 hours

With this registration I agree that I will abide by all rules, regulations and terms set forth below for the Rental of the Freedom Optimist Hall (upstairs & downstairs) for the date and times listed on my registration.
IMPORTANT: You must email ( a copy of a Certificate of Insurance for General Liability in the amount of $500,000 naming the Optimist Club of Freedom District as “additionally insured” which can be secured from either a business or homeowner’s insurance provider once registration is complete. If this form is not received within 20 days of registration – this registration will be cancelled.

CANCELLATION: ½ of rental fee is Non-Refundable
BUILDING SECURITY: Upon completion of event and inspection credit card payers will be issued $200.00 refund back to your credit card from your rental fee within 30 days after your event date

Season runs from March 21 - May 16 (8 games - no games on April 4)

Cost: $55. Returned checks will be assessed a $25.00 fee.

If you are new to the league we will assign you to a team. If you wish to bring in a team please email ( ASAP with your team name and player list. Team captains must also register as a volunteer. Team sizes and number of teams will depend on the number of registrations.
